Maureen has been a lifelong democrat ever since she joined a union at 18 years of age. The United States Constitution and The Rights of Man are her textbooks.  She has faith in the American people and is alarmed by the lack of attention the Congress is paying to the opinions of the people.

Occupy Wall Street and all the protesters around the country are the proof that this Congress is 'getting it wrong.'  She cannot understand this blindness on the part of Republicans and some Democrats.  How do they expect to be elected when they completely ignore the will of the people?
